Pure Events was responsible for the Home of the Puck event during the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Tampere, Finland, from 12 to 28 May 2023, when the tournament was organised together with the Latvian capital Riga. Tampere, a traditional hockey city, wanted to celebrate the return of the puck to its home arena and offer both locals and international guests an unforgettable competition atmosphere.

The whole project, implemented by Pure Events, included event production, facility design and content production, which enabled an immersive and seamless experience for all visitors. Kiekon Koti connected the community and hockey fans in a way that made the World Championships in Tampere a special and memorable event.
In collaboration with the City of Tampere and other stakeholders, Pure Events ensured that the race atmosphere was conveyed to every visitor - whether you were there in the fan area, in the stands or at a city event.
